Virtual Snow Run

Help the cause from your home

Make one day less stressful for a person battling breast cancer by taking part in our Virtual Snow Run. Funds raised will go towards the state you are from in the states we give to.

There are thank you gifts you can earn based on the level of pledges you receive.  Pick your favorite hobby and let your friends know that you are raising funds for a good cause through your hobby.

Or just set a personal goal of helping one patient at $500 or helping mutliple people with a higher goal.  A Top fundraiser will be recognized also.

Be a part of our virtual snow run.  It takes place anywhere in the USA.

Register is free and online.  The online registration allows you to set up your own online donation page and tell your story of why you want to help others.   Your donors will receive an automatic receipt when they make a donation.

                                                                 Fundraising Ideas:

  1. Donation Jars: This is a great way to raise funds. Donation jars at local businesses and public entities can really add up to the cause.  Think of those you know and maybe a friend of a friend or a place you frequent or patronize with your business.   ie:  hairsalons, deli, local restaurant or pub, auto mechanic shop, dentist etc.                                                                                                                     * *Customize your donation jar:  Make your jar personalable. Share your reason why you want to help the Pink Ribbon Riders.  Put your human interest story of what ties you to the cause. Add pictures if you would like. Visual is a big part of your story and those wanting to support you!                             *See below as we give you some facts you can use in your promotions.                                                *Make an arrangement with the locations that you put your jars out, agree on how long your jars will be there and set a date that you will regularly come by to pick up the donations. Don't make your locations responsible for the money in them.                                                                                           *Make sure to send a thank you note or drop one off to your location of how much you raised at the end of your efforts. The locations' customers will appreciate knowing how the fundraiser went and it will make them feel apart of it!
  2. WORK lunch fundraiser:  Ask your company or place of work if you can have  work lunch fundraiser.  You can do this a couple of ways: 1.  Ask everyone to bring lunch on a specific day and donate the amount they would have spent if they would have gone out that day.                                  2. OR ask a few people to all bring a dish to pass and have others make a donation for all sharing the dish to pass that day.  Just some ideas... be creative and if you find a good one, please share with us!
  3.  Do you own a business?  Can you do a fundraiser at your location with a service inccentive?  With every hair cut or tire rotation a portion of the sale will be donated to yoru fundraising efforts?  Do you have vendors that you purchase your products for your business? Could they donate items and you could make baskets that people could make silent bids to win the basket?
  4. Ask your circle:  Ask 10 friends for $10.00. Have you bought wrapping paper or cookies from your friends over time?  Maybe its your turn to ask for support? Ideas... make a cookie bag that friends would donate $10 for a bag of cookies!

5.  Have a get together fundraiser:   Invite a circle of friends over with a donation box at the door. Put envelopes where they can put a donation into the box annomsyly or drop a check. Let everyone know that you invite that this is a fundraiser party you don't want to catch them off gaurd.  Some friends might even donate their time and make snacks too.  You can add fundraising games like a card game or let yoru imagination run.
