18th Michigan Snow Run

The Michigan Snow Run is one of the events on the Snow Run Tour and is open to men and women offering a unique bra scavenger hunt as an activity. The “Hunt” can be done by car, jeep, truck or snowmobile! The Snow Run also includes an awards ceremony, food and fundraising, runner up prizes, bra decorating contest, pledge raising program, auction and more as part of the day.

Included in your registration is dinner for one! 
Dinner and awards follows after the "hunt" and fundraising activities. Awards are presented for the pledge raising program and top fundraiser. Top Fundraiser will be recognized as well as all who raise pledges.  More fun you say? Rock a PINK themed outfit for the day you may just walk away with another prize!

Raising pledges is the key to helping those in need. And you can raise pledges to cover your registration! Here is how simple it can be: Online Fundraising: Once you register our program offers a pledge page you create and can send out to those you know. Your donors receive an automatic receipt and it keeps your total for you! Rock a PINK themed outfit for the day you may just walk away with another prize! 

"Snow Run" History & Current Day

The Snow Run Tour which is a total of 4 states is 20 years old and started in NY giving money directly to patients in need and grew into a multiple states tour. The event started as a snowmobile ride and dinner with raising pledges and recognizing a top fundraiser. Participants goal themselves for how many people they want to help as Pink Ribbon Riders gives $500 per patient in need. There is a free registration period that gives you time to raise pledges to cover your registration and not take it out of pocket. In all the event is open to men and women and has auctions and fundraising along with the pledge program. In 2022 the event has evolved to a Bra Scavenger hunt that you can do by car, jeep, truck or snowmobile! There is a grand prize of $250. awarded to the “Hunt” winner and lots of other runner up prizes. The day ends with dinner and awards and names a TOP FUNDRAISER of the event.

       Saturday Morning:

  • The activity for the Snow Run is a unique and fun bra scavenger hunt that participants can take part in. 
  • All participants check-in on Saturday morning and receive a “hunt” card and all the info for the day. 
  • You will have a time frame to go on your hunt and search for the hidden bras in the area. 
  • Each participant must turn in their “hunt” card at the event location for review. 
  • A winner of the ‘hunt” is announced at the evening dinner and awarded $250.00! 
  • When you register, indicate if you are driving by 4 wheels of some kind or a snowmobile. 
  • OR 1st come availability to ride with one of our volunteer trail leaders. 

Fundraising - It's How We Give

Raising pledges is the key to helping those in need.  Raising pledges is critical to the event and being able to give to patients in need.

We ask that each participant goal themselves at $500.00.  This is the amount Pink Ribbon Riders gives to one patient in need.

And you can raise pledges to cover your registration!

Ask 12 friends for $10!  Or turn in your recycling cans… every penny really adds up!  Goal yourself to raise $500 and help one patient in need.

Bra decorating contest

A long tradition, the founders put bras on their sleds and rode in honor of breast cancer patients!  Keep the tradition alive and unique to Pink Ribbon Riders while helping to raise funds for those in need. 

  • Saturday am:  Complete bra entry form at check-in.
  • Rules:
  • Must wear bra to help spread awareness during the hunt.
  • The BRA that comes back with the most money raised during the “HUNT” wins an additional HUGE prize.
  • Must be turned in at same time as the “hunt” card for verification.

Best dressed Contest

Take the bra decorating one step further to help spread awareness during the “hunt” and rock an outfit or themed costume. 

  • Saturday am: Complete best dressed form at check-in.
  • Dress in pink for the cause or a themed outfit, costume, ball gown or ? It’s up to you! 
  • Continue to rock your outfit into the evening.
  • Prizes awarded for BEST  MAN  and  BEST WOMAN  OUTFIT 

Vehicle / sled decorating Contest

  Another long time tradition for fun and awareness and great prizes! 

  • Saturday am:  Fill out form at check in.
  • Judging to be done on Saturday morning.
  • Whether you are on 4 wheels or a track the fun continues to help tell more people about Pink Ribbon Riders.
  • Prize awarded at dinner. 

Team Recognition

We encourage you to gather your friends by registering and raising pledges together as a team.

  • Rules:  Register with your team name on your individual registration.
  • The team that raises the most amount of money together with EACH individual person raising money under their name will be recognized. 
  • As a team of friends, think of the difference you can make for those battling.

Cancellation Policy

Nope we DO NOT  cancel…..The Snow Runs WILL  go forward no matter what mother nature throws at us….we don’t cancel!

It’s not all about the ride, this is the one main event for the fundraising for the year. If we do not have this event, we can not give. 

Come and join the camaraderie!

  • Refunds are given only if they were paid in full by you and not raised as pledges. Pledges raised can not be returned. Refunds of registrations must be cancelled 10 days prior to event and a $20 amount is non refundable for processing. 

Statement

We will provide an event that will be fun for all, while keeping the cause in mind of raising funds for those in need and the safety of all participating.
