2009 Snow Run Event Summary
3rd Annual Michigan Snow Run raises $27,000 and public
assistance was given to two Michigan Breast Cancer
survivors at the event.
Our top fundraiser for the second year in a row, Lauren Willard, (14 years of age) raised
over $3,000 and donated all of her prize program prizes back to be auctioned off that
evening! With Lauren's kindness her Camoplast Top Fundraiser Prize of a Camoplast
pre studded track, prize program prizes from of a KLIM USA outfit, Woody's Gift
Certificate and Tek Vest raised close to another $1,000 for the cause!
Lauren is an amazing young lady and we are so honored to have her and her
family as supporters of the PInk Ribbon Riders. Lauren has raised a grand total of
close to $6,000 in two years for the Pink Ribbon Riders. The event took place
at the Gaylord Eagles lodge where participants and guests were treated to a
Saturday Valentines Celebration with music and dancing! Dinner appetizers were
served and sponsored by Bob Evans and Save A Lot from the Gaylord Area. Sunday
activities included the Snow Run snowmobile ride that took us to the Black Forest
Golf CLub for lunch sponsored by The Osprey and The Family Moose Lodge Center
of Lewiston for a great mid day snack.
The 2009 Pink Ribbon Riders public assistance gift was sponsored by
Sledders Vision.org on Saturday and was presented to Pam Perrine.
SleddersVision.org also made a donation gift towards the 2010 Michigan Snow
Run for the assistance program which will help 2 patients in the future. Sunday
evening the public recipient was Pam Courtwright seen below.

2008 Snow Run Event Summary
2008 Michigan
Snow Run participants ride in honor and in memory of
those we love!
The Michigan event
started with an evening of fun on Saturday night February
15th at the The Eagles Lodge. Appetizers were hosted
by Bob Evan's of Gaylord.
The participants had no idea
what was in store for them the next morning, as they awoke
to the icy weather conditions that were to come. No matter
what mother nature throws at us, Pink Ribbon Riders participants
ride for a cause.
A breakfast was added to the event
that was not planned, and we thank the Eagles Lodge and
their staff for accommodating our event delay as they
kept us dry and our stomachs filled until we were able
to hit the trails.
30- 40 miles were rode for those we
honor and cherish who have fought the battle with
breast cancer. A total of 138 riders completed the day
and a total of 150 attended the event.
All in all, looking
like glazed donuts, the participants were troopers
and with added festivities such as musical chairs and
the nascar race, it was a lot of fun!
Live music was
supplied by the Music House of Gaylord. Thank you guys
and gals for donating your time!
A wonderful surprise
was the top fundraiser was a 13 year old young lady named
Lauren Williard. Lauren raised $2,550! She went home
with the top fundraiser award from Camoplast tracks,
and many other prizes from the prize program such as
a complete outfit from KLIM USA, $150 gift certificate
from CHOKO clothing, a FLY Racing helmet and a gift certificate
from WOODYS for a complete Stud package worth $300 +,
which will go excellent with her new track from Camoplast!
The event raised $22,000 and still counting!
Special guests were two breast cancer patients that spoke
to the crowd on Sunday evening. Both ladies are receiving
the Pink Ribbon Riders Breast Cancer fund assistance program of $500.00 each.
